STAP 1:
Use the largest stitch on your machine and sew a row within the seam allowances of the shoulder and waistline on the TOP FRONT and BACK pieces. Sew between the facing marks on the FRONT pieces and between the facing and neckline marks on the BACK.
STAP 2:
Gather the shoulder seam allowances of the FRONT and BACK pieces to 17cm.
Match the FRONT and BACK pieces RIGHT SIDES together. Speld en stik die skouer nate. Finish the seam allowances using zig zag stitch or an overlocker. Press the seam toward the back.
Fold back the facings and press. You may like to hem stitch the facing to the inside of the garment if it won’t stay flat.
Pro tip: use french seam finishing for sturdy and tidy seams.
STAP 3:
Open up the TOP piece RIGHT SIDES up.
Top stitch the seam allowance flat to secure.
STAP 4:
Lê LIMBAND 1 REGTERKANTE saam met LYFBAND 2. Werk die naattoelatings tot by die merkers vas. Vou en druk die LIMBAND in die lengte half in, gereed om aansoek te doen.
STAP 5:
Gather the waistline of the TOP pieces to fit the WAISTBAND.
Match the central and side seam points together. Overlap the TOP pieces by 2cm at the side and central points.
Ensure to pin the openings on the WAISTBAND carefully so they lay neatly when stitched.
STAP 6:
Vou die DAS middeldeur oor sy lengte REGTERKANTE saam. Plaas 'n lengte tou tussenin. Werk oor die bokant vas om die tou aan die DAS vas te maak. Speld en stik die naattoelating vas. Trek die tou versigtig en draai die DAS REGTEKANTE uit.
As jy 'n lus draaier:
Vou die DAS in die lengte in die helfte en werk die naattoelating vas. Draai regte kante uit die gebruik van 'n naat Turner.
Voltooi die DAS deur dit te druk en die rou punte twee keer onder te draai en gebruik klein steke om vas te maak. Or simply tie a knot at each end. Voeg in die lyfband te voltooi.
As jy 'n bindmiddel het, kan jy dit met sig-sagsteek gebruik om jou dasse te maak.
STAP 7:
FOR THE JUMPSUIT OR DRESS
Follow the tutorial to make the SKIRT or TROUSERS.
Match the centre front, back and side seams of the TOP and SKIRT or TROUSER RIGHT SIDES together.
Pin en steek. Klaar is met die naattoelating.
