Pull one part of the cuff inside the other so the right sides are together.
Take the glove piece and put inside aligning it into position at the point where the cuff seam allowances meet. Pin in place as you pin the rest of the curved seam allowance that forms the thumb opening.
Pin the hood into the neckline. Begin by getting the placement correctly centered on the front, then match the back seamline of the hood with the center back of the garment. Ease the rest around the neckline. Be careful not to stretch the fabric too much as you can distort the shape.
Finish the garment by top-stitching around the hood opening and then the neckline. Ensure the neckline seam allowance lays flat as you do this to ensure it is caught in the stitches. This will keep it neat and tidy and make the seam stronger.
