Hem Stitch

Used for all kinds of hems. It forms a secure slanting stitch.

Dolgozz jobbról balra, taking evenly spaced stitches. Secure thread in seam allowance of hem. Pick up one or two threads from the garment then take the needle at a slight angle through the fold of the hem edge. Repeat. The right side of the garment should show no stitches.
