Lay the two COLLAR pieces RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER.
Pin and stitch the seam allowance leaving the neckline seam open.
CLIP and TRIM the seam allowance.
Turn RIGHT SIDES OUT and press. Top stitch all around close to the edge.

Lay the two BACK pieces RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER. Place the COLLAR between the two BACK pieces at the neckline.
Pin in place. Stitch all around as shown in the diagram leaving a 10cm gap unstitched on one side.
Clip and trim the seam allowance as in Step 1 but leave the 10cm seam allowance un-clipped or trimmed.
Turn RIGHT SIDES OUT and press gently using a pressing cloth is necessary. Fold the 10cm opening seam allowance to the inside.
Top-stitch all around the garment.

Lay the WAISTBAND pieces RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER.
Pin and stitch leaving a 10cm gap open on one side.
Clip and trim as in Step 2.

Turn WAISTBAND RIGHT SIDES OUT. Fold the 10cm opening seam allowance to the inside. Press gently and top stitch.
Ntụpụ ụkwụ 5:
Align the waistband center along the line indicated on the BACK pattern piece.
Apply a single row of stitches approximately 10cm long to the WAISTBAND to secure to the BACK of the garment.
Ntụpụ ụkwụ 6:
Complete by adding the velcro to the neck bands and the waistband ends. Sew the softer part of the velcro to the lining pieces to help avoid the coarser part getting tangled in your pets fur.
Sew all around the inside of the velcro pieces to ensure they stay secure.
Finally, add your buttons to the waistband to complete your smart Jasper Jacket!
