PASS 1:
FOR JUMPSUIT – begin by following the top tutorial.
With the TROUSER RIGHT SIDES together, fold the leg in half using the cowl seam marker as reference for the center.
Stitch and finish the seam allowance of the cowl.
PASS 2:
With the TROUSER still RIGHT SIDES together match the inside leg seam allowances.
Pin, stitch and finish.
Repeat Steps 1-2 for the other TROUSER.
PASS 3:
Turn one TROUSER WRONG SIDES out. Place the other TROUSER inside and match the crotch seam allowances RIGHT SIDES together.
Pin, stitch and finish.
PASS 4:
Lay WAISTBAND 1 RIGHT SIDES together with WAISTBAND 2. Sew the seam allowances up to the markers. Fold and press the WAISTBAND in half lengthways, ready to apply.
PASS 5:
TROUSERS (for the jumpsuit, the WAISTBAND is added to the top)
Lay the TROUSERS RIGHT SIDES out.
Fold the WAISTBAND in half along its length.
Pin the WAISTBAND around the TROUSERS matching the centre of WAISTBAND 1 with the centre front.
stitch, finish and press the seam allowance to the inside.
PASS 6:
Fold the LEG CUFF in half RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER matching the shorter ends together.
Pin, stitch and press open.
Fold in half around its length and press.
Match the raw edges of the LEG CUFF and the TROUSER leg RIGHT SIDES together. Pin, stitch, finish and press the seam allowance toward the inside.
PASS 7:
