Tailor’s tacks are used to mark placement of darts, balansehin mark at iba pang mga tampok mula sa mga pattern nang direkta sa mga piraso cut damit.

Gamit ang pattern pa rin ang naka-pin sa piraso cut tela, tumagal ng isang mahabang sumadsad ng pagbuburda floss o i-double haba ng isang kahaliling thread ng kulay. Take a stitch through necessary points leaving long tails either end of about 2.5cm. Remove pattern from fabric, gently fold open the two garment pieces and snip through the stitches to leave threads in both.
